An iPhone Wedding: Capturing Love Through the Lens of the iPhone 14 Pro Max

Hey there! If we haven't met yet, I'm Tomas Šimkus, the face behind 123presets. I've been lucky enough to be a part of over 200 wedding days, capturing all those heartwarming moments. But this past weekend? I shook things up a bit. Instead of my usual camera setup, I took a leap of faith with just my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Crazy, right? But trust me, the results were nothing short of magical. Stick around, and I'll take you on this unexpected yet delightful journey of wedding photography with a twist!

The Spontaneous Beginning

It all started with a daring idea on a beautiful Thursday morning. By Saturday, that idea had transformed into reality. I put out a spontaneous Facebook post just three days before the wedding, offering free wedding photography using only an iPhone. The response was overwhelming, with hundreds of messages flooding in from couples wanting to be a part of this unique experience. Among them, Justina and Andrew stood out, and I knew they were the perfect couple to embark on this adventure with me. The gorgeous wedding of Justina and Andrew was captured entirely on my iPhone, marking the beginning of a day filled with unforgettable moments.

A Day to Remember

The wedding day began at 11:00 am. My first stop was the groom's hotel, followed by a visit to the bride. The preparation moments, filled with anticipation and excitement, were beautifully captured. Time flew incredibly fast, and soon we were all gathered at the "Užutrakis" Manor for the ceremony. This was followed by a photo session in the manor grounds and a short walk in the heart of Vilnius.

Just when I thought the day was winding down, the wedding party began, and I captured even more emotions and moments. By the end of the day, I had selected 418 of the most beautiful photos. And as promised, the entire gallery was ready the very next day!

The iPhone as a Photography Tool

So, what's the verdict on the iPhone as a photography tool? In my opinion, it performed exceptionally well. The photos speak for themselves, and I'm thrilled to share a small portion of the gallery here. The rest of the photos are now with the newlyweds, a testament to their special day.

Of course, the wedding day wouldn't have been as special without the fantastic team: Nerijus and Gintarė (Photo), SYKER (Video), Milda Kubilienė (Dream Factory, planning, event location), and many others.

All photos were taken with the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The Art of Editing and Organizing

Capturing the moments is just one part of the story; bringing them to life through editing is another. After the whirlwind of the wedding day, it was time to dive into the post-processing. First, I transferred all the photos to my computer and uploaded them to Adobe Lightroom. Organizing was crucial. I began by "rating" each picture, ensuring the gallery remained organized and only my absolute favorites were chosen for editing.

Now, let's talk about the magic touch: Lightroom Presets. I crafted a limited edition presets collection. These presets were exclusively used to enhance the beauty of Justina and Andrew's wedding photos. And here's the exciting part: for a limited time, you can grab the very same presets I used for these pictures! But act fast, as this collection won't be available for long.

For those of you who are photography enthusiasts and have captured weddings or other events on your phone, there's good news. You don't need a computer to use these presets. Dive straight into editing on your phone with the iPhone Wedding Presets Collection!

A Special Thanks

I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who believed in this idea and made it a reality. To Justina and Andrew, for trusting me with their special day. And to all of you, for your continued support and feedback.

What do you think about the iPhone as a photography tool? Did it do its job well? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
